Horses’ respiratory tracts are sensitive to external stressors. Exposure to air contaminants such as ammonia, arena dust, and wildfire smoke can lead to respiratory issues and poor performance.

To help bring awareness to the importance of good air quality to horses, The Horse is partnering with Sweet PDZ for Air Quality Awareness Week to help educate horse owners and veterinarians about equine respiratory health.

Look for air quality-related content all this week on TheHorse.com, our Facebook page and Twitter feed, and in our e-newsletters.
