Hyaluronic acid is a non-sulfated GAG widely distributed throughout connective and neural tissue. It is an important component of articular cartilage as it binds water and is responsible for the resilience of cartilage.
 
Methylsulfonyl methane (MSM) is an organosulfur compound that serves as a supplemental source of sulfur and when used in conjunction with glucosamine and chondroitin has been shown to help prevent osteoarthritis.
