GREELEY, CO., April 7, 2015 — Aspen Veterinary Resources, Ltd, an Animal Health International company, today introduces Vetameg¨ Equine Paste (flunixin meglumine), indicated for the alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders in the horse.

Each Aspen Veterinary Resources’ Vetameg Paste (flunixin meglumine) 30mg syringe contains flunixin meglumine equivalent to 1500mg flunixin, which is the same active ingredient in the same concentration and dosage form as Banamine¨ Paste (distributed by Merck Animal Health), and is approved by the FDA under ANADA# 200-581 as therapeutically equivalent to Banamine¨ Paste.

“Horse owners, and the veterinarians who care for their horses, have been seeking a cost-effective alternative in a paste-delivered NSAID”, says Bernadette Bergan, House Brands Product Manager for Animal Health International, “and we’re very happy to satisfy that need by bringing Vetameg¨ Equine Paste to market under our own Aspen label.”

Vetameg Equine Paste (flunixin meglumine) adds to the ever-growing line of affordable, effective equine products offered by Aspen Veterinary Resources, including Vetameg Injectable, Mineral Max¨, Equi-Bute¨ Paste and Equi-Bute¨ Injectable, among others
