A saddle bronc horse died May 26 after colliding with a fence during a New Jersey rodeo.

Grant Harris, of the Cowtown Rodeo, in Pilesgrove, said Saturday’s rodeo was the first in which the 4-year-old filly had actually competed, but she’d previously been in the venue’s arena numerous times for acclimatization.
