The American Association of Equine Practitioners today announced the addition of Vetstream as a Media Partner. Vetstream specializes in the provision of digital reference services to the veterinary sector through its Vetlexicon suite of services, forming the world’s largest online, peer-reviewed, point-of-need clinical veterinary reference tool.

The service Vetlexicon Equis contains more than 2,000 articles covering equine diseases and diagnostic and surgical techniques as well as 3,500 images and radiographs. A formulary is provided in addition to an extensive video library and a heart sounds section.  All content has been prepared and peer-reviewed by more than 500 of the world’s leading equine veterinarians. The resources are regularly updated to ensure they reflect best practices and are accessible 24/7 through any Internet-enabled smart device. The compliance and education of horse owners is supported within Equis through the provision of more than 150 owner fact sheets covering health and welfare aspects of horse ownership.
