When it comes to treating horses with pain and inflammation, 2010 survey results show more than 90 percent of veterinarians think it is “extremely important” or “very important” to have multiple formulations of equine nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) available. A large majority consider it “extremely important” to have an oral paste (81 percent) available while 82 percent believe it is “extremely important” to have an injectable formulation available
