Aspen Veterinary Resources® Launces Vetameg® Equine Paste, New Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Treatment for Horses
GREELEY, CO., April 7, 2015 — Aspen Veterinary Resources, Ltd, an Animal Health International company, today introduces Vetameg¨ Equine Paste (flunixin meglumine), indicated for the alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders in the horse.
Each Aspen Veterinary Resources’ Vetameg Paste (flunixin meglumine) 30mg syringe contains flunixin meglumine equivalent to 1500mg flunixin, which is the same active ingredient in the same concentration and dosage form as Banamine¨ Paste (distributed by Merck Animal Health), and is approved by the FDA under ANADA# 200-581 as therapeutically equivalent to Banamine¨ Paste.
