Tennessee law enforcement authorities are seeking whoever is responsible for the death of a horse in its Williamson County pasture.

Williamson Co. Sheriff’s Office Public Relations Administrator Sharon Puckett said that the horse’s owner notified sheriff’s office personnel after discovering the animal’s remains around 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 9.

“The horse’s carcass was located in a shallow ditch on the property,” Puckett said.

Puckett said the animal’s owners believe the horse was killed sometime between late Friday (Nov. 8) and 10:30 Saturday morning
