QUEST¨ and QUEST PLUS Gel Applicators Redesigned for Ease of Use

New applicators fit better in the hands of horse owners for more-accurate dosing

FLORHAM PARK, N.J., April 23, 2015 Ñ Zoetis has just released newly designed applicators for QUEST (moxidectin) and QUEST PLUS (moxidectin/praziquantel) Gel, making these effective equine deworming products easier to administer. QUEST and QUEST PLUS are now available in a shorter and wider applicator tube that better fits into the user’s hand and offers an ergonomic finger grip on the plunger.

“QUEST and QUEST PLUS Gel are packaged to allow for easier administration for all users,” said Kenton Morgan, DVM, Equine Technical Services, Zoetis. “The new design features a shorter tube, as well as a curved plunger to allow for steadier placement of the user’s thumb.”

In a recent survey of more than 110 horse owners, 82% of respondents said that the new design of the QUEST and QUEST PLUS applicator made it easier to administer.1

As a leader in horse health innovation, Zoetis is committed to the horse, and we are proud to offer an improved design to meet the needs of our customers, said Dr. Morgan.

QUEST and QUEST PLUS, are formulated to meet the seasonal needs of horses recommended by the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP). Easier administration of QUEST helps horse owners provide the only U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved dewormer on the market that treats encysted small strongyles in a single dose, and QUEST PLUS has additional efficacy against tapeworms to help meet your seasonal needs.

To purchase QUEST and QUEST PLUS in the new, easy-to-use applicator, visit your local retailer or veterinarian. Prior to purchasing a dewormer, you can evaluate your horse’s Individualized Dewormingª needs by answering a few questions from Zoetis, available here
