Michelle Linton, BSc, BVMS, Dipl. ACVIM (LAIM), is an internal medicine and emergency critical care clinician at the University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center. A 2008 graduate of Murdoch University, in Western Australia, Linton completed a neonatology internship at New Bolton Center, followed by a critical care internship at Scone Equine Hospital in Australia. On completion of her internship year, Linton returned to New Bolton to undertake a large animal internal medicine residency. Following her residency, Linton stayed on at New Bolton Center and currently devotes most of her clinical time to the care of pregnant mares, sick foals, and critically ill patients. In addition to seeing a high caseload of sick neonates and high-risk pregnancies, Linton runs a “Healthy Mare” foaling program at New Bolton Center that takes away the stress of monitoring and foaling mares at home.
