  1. Thru careful husbandry and management, we have kept most negative symptoms at bay. Grass sugars change minute to minute, so daily exercise, to aid venal circulation to the muscles so they can do their job is critical. These horses do not tend to exercise themselves unless highly motivated (like a wild turke in their pasture). Keeping them out 24/7 except in bad weather is also important.
