AROMAS, CA –Vitafloor, the innovator of whole-body vibration for horses, continues to expand their footprint in the United States. Originally based in Europe, Vitafloor has tested and placed their proprietary whole-body vibration therapy in leading vet clinics, rehabilitation centers, and training barns in over 30 countries. As demand grows stateside, Vitafloor recently added sales talent in key equestrian markets to better address the growing demand for equine performance and wellness therapies.

“Given the monetary investment and physical demand of horse racing, it is natural for owners and trainers to want the proven success of Vitafloor’s whole body vibration floors,” Holm Oostveen, the owner of Vitafloor, stated.   According to multiple studies over the years, bone fractures are the most commonly occurring problem in the racing world. Vitafloor’s calibrated vertical vibration has been shown to increase bone density, with one racing client commenting, “After using the Vitafloor daily on our young horses, our shin problems disappeared.” To address this opportunity, Vitafloor was quick to add Katie Phipps, an equestrian with over fifteen years of experience in the racing and high-performance sporthorse market, to the team.   Katie and her husband Will, a former racing trainer and horseman himself, split their time between the racing and show circuits of Saratoga Springs, West Grove, PA, and Wellington, FL.

Jan Shultis, a business owner and non-profit founder who shares life near Houston, Texas, with horses, dogs, cats, and livestock, joins the team as well. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, Jan served around the world as a public affairs officer, including in Afghanistan as an Army embed working in detention operations and as a Reserve Instructor for the Naval Leadership and Ethics Center. “I look forward to leveraging all tools and knowledge available to help clients and their horses move further along the road toward optimal health,” Jan shared.   Her organizational experience and compassion (She is the founder of the Xena Project, an organization run by veterans that facilitates the mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of warriors through animal encounters and all types of counseling) will be assets as Vitafloor continues to expand in Texas horse country.

Vitafloor sees the market for sports medicine and therapy equipment continuing to expand as more trainers, veterinarians, and horse owners capitalize on the link between movement, proper biomechanics, and wellness
