Enhanced Security Protocols for International Trot at Yonkers Raceway

The New York State Gaming Commission announced Oct. 9 the implementation of enhanced security and drug testing protocols for the International Trot, taking place Oct. 13 at Yonkers Raceway, in New York.
In addition to enhanced security measures, the protocols require out-of-competition testing of all participating horses.
The process will be coordinated and supervised by Scott E. Palmer, VMD, Dipl. ABVP, the Gaming Commission’s equine medical director, and Daniel Haughney, the Gaming Commission’s director of investigations
