SALTainer™ will help horses combat respiratory and skin conditions to enhance performance

Boca Raton, FL – SALT Chamber, the pioneer in providing halotherapy access to horses (equine salt therapy) and pets, has partnered with Eclipse Equine Sports Therapy Center to bring salt therapy to Santa Anita Park by designing and building a SALTainer™, which transforms shipping containers into transportable and permanent salt therapy concepts.

Shipping containers have been used by renowned architects in developing homes, offices, and even portable emergency medical centers, and now, SALT Chamber has developed them into salt therapy rooms. The first SALT Chamber SALTainer™ project, the SALT BOX, was built and designed in Lincolnshire, United Kingdom earlier this year, and now the first one is being installed at the Santa Anita Park for the equine industry.

Equipped with SALT Chamber’s trademarked SALT FX® halogenerators, these shipping containers are environmentally controlled and equipped with stable partitions, chest bars, and other unique features specifically designed for horses and pets.

A halogenerator is a machine that grinds, crushes, and disperses pure-grade sodium chloride into micron-sized dry salt aerosol particles that are inhaled into the respiratory system and absorbed by the skin
