David Levine, DVM, Dipl. ACVS

David Levine, DVM, Dipl. ACVS, is an assistant professor of large animal surgery at New Bolton Center, the large animal hospital of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Levine has been on staff as a surgeon since 2009. An avid horseman and racehorse owner, his research specialty is postoperative orthopedic implant infection. He also has conducted research on sarcoid tumors and other equine skin conditions. Levine received his veterinary degree from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2004.
