David Scofield, DVM, MS, Dipl. ACT

David Scofield, DVM, MS, Dipl. ACT, is a veterinarian with Select Breeders Services (SBS) in Maryland. After graduating from Oklahoma State University in 2009, he completed an internship at Weatherford Equine Medical Center in Texas and later joined Colorado State University’s Equine Reproduction Laboratory as resident. His research focused on antimicrobial agents for bacterial and fungal infections in mares. His day-to-day activities included managing reproductively challenged mares and stallions, embryo transfer, foaling mares, high-risk pregnancies, and neonatal foals. At SBS, Scofield provides equine reproduction and veterinary services, including mare and stallion management, foaling services, embryo transfer, and an on-site recipient mare herd.
