Previously postponed from September 2020 until January 2021, Europe’s largest equine veterinary convention has been rescheduled until September 2021.
Reduced performance, including a shorter stride length, is likely a consequence of pain caused by equine gastric ulcers.
Three of the four were euthanized.

This marks Lexington County’s first Eastern equine encephalitis case for 2020.
This case marks the state’s first equine death from WNV in 2020.
The five horses are from three counties.
The horses from Jefferson and St. Lawrence counties were unvaccinated.
A voluntary quarantine was enacted following the affected horse’s diagnosis.
The affected filly is reported as recovering from Eastern equine encephalomyelitis.
