Congressional Hearing on Horse Racing Scheduled

A U.S. House of Representatives subcommittee has scheduled a hearing on horse racing safety and integrity for Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. EST at the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, D.C.
Speakers for the hearing called by the Energy and Commerce Committee Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade will be announced the week of Nov. 17. The hearing will focus on "a bill to improve integrity and safety of interstate horse racing and for other purposes," according to a note about the hearing.
The subcommittee is chaired by U.S. Rep. Lee Terry, a Nebraska Republican.
