Their 9,300-square-foot sanctuary lies at the end of a discovery trail that wends its way through lush tropical growth where sharp-eyed observers can also spot pygmy hippos frolicking in their watering hole and whimsical meerkats and naked mole rats scampering about their earthen dwellings.
