A licensed architect since 1992, Carolyn Adams, AIA, brings both her passion for all things equestrian and her aptitude for design into her projects and daily life. Adams works out of her home office near Seattle, where she enjoys a view of her horses–Appollo, Sly Fox, and Maddie–from her window, which was inspired by architect Wilbur Post’s barn and studio in the 1960s television show “Mr. Ed.” After receiving a bachelor’s degree in architecture from University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s of science in architecture and urban design from Columbia University, she has worked on a variety of project types, but equestrian facilities and custom residential projects are her passion.
