New AAEP Board Members Selected
Nathaniel A. White II, DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVS, and Mr. Duncan Alexander have been appointed to three-year terms on AAEP Board of Directors. Both will begin their terms in January 2000.

Nathaniel A. White II, DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVS, and Mr. Duncan Alexander have been appointed to three-year terms on AAEP Board of Directors. Both will begin their terms in January 2000.
Dr. White, of Leesburg, Virginia, will serve as a Director-at-Large. He is a graduate of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University and is currently the Theodora Ayer Professor of Surgery and Assistant Director of Clinical Services at the Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center in Leesburg.
An AAEP member since 1973, Dr. White serves as chairman of the Research Committee, is past chairman of the Internship Committee, and has been a member of the Exhibit Review, Trail and Events and Abstract committees. He also represents the AAEP as an “On Call” veterinarian at televised equine sporting events.
Alexander, president of the American Live Stock Insurance Company, is the Equine Industry Board Member. He is the 1997 recipient of the AAEP George Stubbs Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to equine veterinary medicine by an individual other than a veterinarian. Alexander is a director of the Gluck Research Foundation at the University of Kentucky and also a director of the Horse Industry Alliance
