Reward Offered for Information About Utah Horse Shooting
- Topics: Article, Horse Industry News
Utah authorities are hoping the offer of a $10,000 cash reward will help identify those responsible for shooting a horse in a pasture in Roy.
Roy City Police Department Public Information Officer Josh Taylor said someone shot the horse late on Feb. 3 or early on Feb. 4. The gunshot wound itself was not fatal, Taylor said, but it might have contributed to the animal’s death.
“It was only a graze,” he said. “But something else happened after the horse was shot.”
He declined further comment
