Miesque, Top Thoroughbred Racehorse and Broodmare, Dead at 27
Miesque, the first two-time winner of a Breeders’ Cup race and the dam of top sire Kingmambo, was euthanized Jan. 20 at the Oak Tree Division of Lane’s End Farm in Central Kentucky due to the infirmities of age. She was 27. She was buried in the Lane’s End/Oak Tree Division cemetery.
Proposed Virginia Bill Amends Animal Welfare Code
