  1. My best friend, her husband and I share a large horse property in the PNW that we inherited fom another friend who passed away…winter is our time to hunker down and stay close to the 17 equines (as well as the numerous other animals) that we share our lives with. We do our traveling in the spring and summer, but almost never together…we have each other’s backs when it comes to the care and welfare of our animals.
