DULUTH, GA (December 5, 2023) – Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health announced the recipients of the 2023 Advancement in Equine Research Awards during the 69^th annual American Association of Equine Practitioners Convention in San Diego, CA, November 29 – December 3. The recipients were chosen based on their research proposals which included subject matter focused on equine infectious disease and equine asthma syndrome.

Recipients are the following:

With the inclusion of this year’s recipients, Boehringer Ingelheim has given more than $800,000 towards the advancement of equine research since 2011.

Those eligible to submit proposals were veterinarians, diagnosticians, and public and private researchers in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
