A barn fire has killed a horse near Fergus Falls, Minn.


Fire Chief Mark Hovland says the barn’s owner noticed the fire around 5:30 a.m. Thursday and tried to save all of the horses. One horse died in the fire, but four others were able to get out.


Authorities don’t know what caused the fire but said the barn contained many hay bales. The barn is considered a total loss
