Morris Animal Foundation recently announced the induction of University of Wisconsin-Madison veterinarian  Benjamin Darien, DVM, Dipl. ACVIM,  into its Veterinary Honor Roll. Darien was nominated for the Honor Roll by Dan, Dayle and Dana Marsh of Chicago.

Darien received his doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He currently practices at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Veterinary Medicine where he is an associate professor in the department of medical sciences.

“To be selected for Morris Animal Foundation’s Veterinary Honor Roll highlights one of my most enjoyable and memorable veterinary experiences,” said Darien. “I will always be appreciative of animal lovers like the Marsh’s whose support is needed for the advancement of clinical medicine in the veterinary profession.”

The Marsh Family met Darien while he was treating their daughter Dana’s horse, Missy. She suffered from multiple medical problems and was hospitalized at the University for an extensive period of time
