DECHRA EXPANDS EQUINE PORTFOLIO

Dechra signs license agreement with Peptech Animal Health for exclusive North American marketing and distribution rights to Ovuplant¨

OVERLAND PARK, KS, August 4, 2010 – Dechra Veterinary Products, the U.S. subsidiary of Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC UK, and Peptech Animal Health Pty Limited (Peptech) of Sydney, Australia, announce the signing of a license agreement for Ovuplant (NADA 141-044).  Ovuplant is a subcutaneous implant containing the active ingredient deslorelin acetate utilized to induce ovulation in mares.  Ovuplant was previously marketed in the U.S and is still registered with the Center for Veterinary Medicine; however, it has not been sold in the U.S
