The Kentucky Agricultural Experiment Station has published the scientific papers from the August 2002 workshop on mare reproductive loss syndrome (MRLS) convened at the University of Kentucky’s (UK) Gluck Equine Research Center. The MRLS workshop proceedings is the definitive compilation of all types of information regarding MRLS from researchers, practicing veterinarians, laboratories, and the industry. The workshop was sponsored by the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation, Keeneland Association, The Gluck Center, and the UK College of Agriculture.
“We anticipate publication of the proceedings will stimulate further activity to identify the cause of MRLS,” said David Powell, BVSc, of the Gluck Center.
The topics are broken down into eight categories that each have summaries, plus a summary for the entire workshop. For example, Session One on Field and Clinical Observations on MRLS has five presentations and a summary
