The International Animal Welfare Training Institute welcomes you to the first lecture in the 2009-2010 school year series to be held Monday, Sept. 21. Dick Green, EdD, will present “International Response to Disasters: The Animal Component” at 6 p.m. in Room 1020, Gladys Valley Hall, at the University of California, Davis, Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital.

Green is the emergency relief manager for disasters at the International Fund for Animal Welfare. He has responded to scores of international and national disasters and his teams have rescued thousands of animals from floods, tornadoes, fires, and hurricanes
