Law enforcement authorities in Warren County, Ohio, are seeking the owner of two horses discovered standing on a roadside in Washington Township last month.
Sheriff's deputies discovered the sorrel riding horse and a brown and white spotted miniature horse standing along US Route 22 near Clarksville Road on April 12. Both animals were in good condition when they were found, said Warren County Sheriff's Department spokesman Sgt. Brian Hounshell.
"We don't know if they were abandoned by their owner because of economic reasons or if they got out of their pasture," he said.
Both are currently residing in foster homes, but they will be sold at auction if their owner does not step forward
