Leading Thoroughbred sprinter Majesticperfection suffered a condylar fracture in his right foreleg during a workout Sept. 6, according to Daily Racing Form. The Form said the injury to the 4-year-old son of Harlan's Holiday, trained by Steve Asmussen for Padua Stables, could threaten his career.

The winner of five of six starts, Majesticperfection set a track record of 1:07.24 for six furlongs while winning the Iowa Sprint Handicap. He also sprinted to win the Alfred G. Vanderbilt (gr. I) at Saratoga by 2 3/4 lengths in final six-furlong time of 1:08.63. He earned Beyer Speed Figures of 117 and 115, respectively, in those races, which were the highest sprint figures achieved this year.
