Twenty-four horses have died after fire destroyed their barn near Atlanta, Georgia.
Laura Richardson, a representative for Clayton County Fire and Emergency Services, said farm tenants reported that a barn on the property was burning on April 4. The horses, belonging to the property owners, were in the barn at the time of the blaze.
“The barn was completely involved in fire when firefighters arrived,” Richardson said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation
