The Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Southern Nevada District has concluded an emergency wild horse gather on the Nevada Wild Horse Range, in Nye County.
The agency gathered and removed 801 wild horses.
The BLM said it conducted the gather, which ran Aug. 2 through Aug. 29, because there was not enough water to support the number of horses in the area
