Up to $50,000 in research funding will be offered through a rigorous application and review process. Grants are selected on a competitive basis, taking into account scientific merit, scientific and clinical significance, and relevance. Preference will be given to investigators with solid credentials and research experience. All applications undergo a three-tier review process completed by the scientific review committee. The average grant award is $50,000 for up to a one-and-a-half-year period. 

 

"Our last call for proposals was specific to EAA/T for veterans with post traumatic stress disorder and the results have been very encouraging," said HHRF Board President Lynn Shaw. "Now our board is exceptionally pleased to make this grant cycle open to any EAA/T related research areas. It is through such open-ended opportunities that new areas of research are explored; we always see such exciting new ideas."
