Tennessee Horse Farm Manager Pleads Guilty to Fraud

A Tennessee man will spend more than two years in prison after pleading guilty to stealing more than $800,000 while he worked as the manager of Masterson Farms LLC, a Western pleasure show horse breeding farm in Somerville, Tennessee.
D. Michael Dunavant, a U.S. attorney, said Zachery M. Baker was hired by the breeder in 2012. In January 2013 he allegedly began writing checks from the organization payable to himself; Zigadoo Moneyclips, a band he managed; and an individual identified as “E.L.M.” Court documents say Baker is also accused of using transferring farm funds to make online payments on his personal credit card accounts.
In all, Baker allegedly stole more than $810,000 from Masterson Farms between January 2013 and April 2018
