After trying for over a year – all the vets suggestions (surgery, steroid cream, pressure bandages), none were successful. I read an article about Manuka Honey. I bought medical grade bandages that had Manuka honey in them. Bandaged the area with the patch on the proud flesh. Not only did it remove the proud flesh (a real surprise) but the wound completely healed in 6 weeks!
