The unvaccinated draft cross mare resided in Jefferson County.
The Quarter Horse resides in Adams County and is recovering.
The Friesian colt resides in Murray County and is recovering.
Both Quarter Horses reside at the same facility in Kern County.
The Tehama County horse marks the state’s fourth WNV case in 2022.

The 6-year-old Gypsy gelding was confirmed positive on Aug. 16.
The boarding facility where the horses reside is under quarantine, and 30 horses were exposed.
The Quarter Horse gelding resides in Weld County.
The Lake County farm is under official quarantine.
