Ten horses have been confirmed positive at a San Mateo County boarding facility. An additional two are suspected positive and 300 total potentially exposed.
A San Mateo County boarding facility remains under official quarantine with CDFA monitoring the outbreak.
Twenty-eight horses at the affected horse’s training facility are under official quarantine.
The affected horse’s premises are under official quarantine until TAHC requirements are met.
No additional clinical signs of cases have been confirmed since the affected horse’s removal to her Sonoma County home premises.
The mare is currently under quarantine. Twenty-seven additional horses were placed under quarantine and are being monitored.
The horse resides in Park County.
One horse was euthanized.
Forty-six more horses were exposed.
The index case tested positive for equine infectious anemia while in Arizona.
The Ozaukee County horse is under voluntary quarantine.
The affected horse was placed under voluntary quarantine.

The case marks the state’s first EHM confirmation this year.
State officials will continue working with local veterinarians and horse owners to monitor potentially exposed horses.
