The Bureau of Land Management, Nevada, is hosting its first ever wild horse adoption event at the Reno Rodeo Livestock Events Center Sunday, June 21, at 2 p.m.

Twenty wild horses from BLM-administered public lands in Nevada, Oregon, and Wyoming will be offered for adoption at the conclusion of the Extreme Mustang Makeover (EEM) competition. Trainers have spent the last 100 days building trust, gentling, halter breaking, and saddle training these wild horses for one of the most talked about equine competitions in America.

Created and produced by the Mustang Heritage Foundation, this is the first time the EMM will be a part of the Reno Rodeo. The EMM Nevada event is scheduled for June 20 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and June 21 from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Reno Rodeo Livestock Events Center.
