Your Horse Ate What?

When you think of feeding a horse, what comes to mind first? Hay, grain, or grass? Maybe even an apple or carrot for a treat?
Even though horses mainly consume forage-based diets, some of them seem to enjoy “human” foods as well, such as candy, cookies, and even sandwiches. Recently we asked horse owners to share some of the strangest things their horses have eaten. Here are a few of those food (and non-food) items they caught their horse munching on.
