Purdue to Host 2016 Horseman’s Forum on Feb. 6
The Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine will host a horseman’s educational forum Feb. 6 at Lynn Hall on the university’s campus. In addition to educational sessions, a tour of the university’s large animal hospital and an equine treadmill demonstration will be provided.
According to the program brochure, "the purpose of the Horseman’s Forum is to educate horse owners and equine industry professionals about current horse health issues, ranging from basic preventive health care and husbandry topics to state-of-the-art medical advancements. The Horseman’s Forum will be presented as a one-day seminar where questions and open discussions will be encouraged. Presenters will include Purdue faculty and staff, as well as invited speakers.”
Registration is $44 for regular attendees and $22 for students, faculty, and military personnel. A $10 late fee will apply if registering after Jan. 26. Additionally, 5.5 continuing education credits are offered for attending the workshop. Registration information is available online.
