The deadline for horse shows, horse trials, and events to apply for Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program (TIP) awards at horse shows during the 2014 show season is Sept. 30.

TIP sponsorships are available for myriad disciplines, including eventing, dressage, hunters, jumpers, English pleasure, and Western disciplines, and are open to shows in the United States and Canada.

Created by The Jockey Club in October 2011, the TIP recognizes and rewards the versatility of the Thoroughbred through sponsorship of Thoroughbred classes and high point awards at sanctioned horse shows, performance awards, and non-competition awards. To date, more than 4,800 horses have been registered with TIP and they have competed in more than 400 horse shows in 40 states and provinces.
