The speakers and topics for the 2013 Kentucky Trail Summit have been finalized, organizers announced Oct. 2.

The summit is an annual event hosted by the Kentucky Horse Council (KHC) and the Kentucky Equine Education Project (KEEP) designed to bring trail riders together for education and networking opportunities. This year’s event is scheduled for Nov. 15-16 at Natural Bridge State Park in Slade, Ky.

Lecture topics will include:

  • Being a considerate trail user;
  • Trailer maintenance and safety;
  • Trail riding 101;
  • Sharing the trail with mountain bikers;
  • Safety on the trail, and more.
