BLM Offers $10,000 Reward in Mustang, Burro Shooting Deaths

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is hoping the offer of a $10,000 reward will lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the deaths of multiple wild mustangs and burros this year.
Agency spokeswoman Heather Emmons Jasinski said that since January, BLM law enforcement personnel have documented four separate incidents involving the killings of nine mustangs and two burros. The large reward is in response to the rise in reports of such deaths.
"We were seeing more than one incident, and we’re looking at the bigger picture," Emmons Jasinski said.
She declined further comment on the ongoing investigation
