Law enforcement authorities in Ross Township, Ohio, are seeking the owner of three horses discovered wandering around the township last week.

Detective Dave Crawford of the Ross Twp. Police Department (RTPD) said police took custody of the unattended horses after a caller reported finding them walking down a local street.

Crawford said all three of the horses are white in color; One horse has a brown face, he said. A local resident is caring for all the horses until their owner is found.

Crawford said it is unclear whether or not the horses’ owner would face any charges in connection with the incident
