More than 100 readers of TheHorse.com responded to a poll asking, "Which of the following best represent your views regarding the use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy for your horse?"

Results were as follows:
- Would only use if less expensive than other treatments: 38.1% (40 votes)
- Well worth the money. My horse responded well after one treatment: 32.38% (34 votes)
- I feel PRP is safer to use than other treatments: 22.86% (24 votes)
- My vet does PRP stall-side so it’s easy and convenient: 16.19% (17 votes)
- Wouldn’t use it: 13.33% (14 votes)
