TheHorse.com has been named as a finalist in three categories in the 2012 Equestrian Social Media Awards (ESMAs). Reader nominations landed TheHorse.com in the Top 10 in: Category 2–Best Use of Facebook, Category 8–Best Publication, and Category 13–Most Informative.

In last year’s inaugural ESMAs, TheHorse.com won awards for Most Informative, International, and Best Use of Twitter, International, in addition to receiving third place in Best Use of Facebook, International.

Now in its second year, the 2012 ESMAs finalists will be scored by a panel of experts (70% of the final score) and based on reader voting (30% of the final score). Votes can be placed online at www.equestriansocialmediaawards.com/voting until Feb. 10 at 12:00 p.m. GMT.
