Washington State University Establishes Equine Internal Medicine Scholarship
The College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University is establishing the Warwick Bayly Scholarship in Equine Internal Medicine for veterinary students wishing to pursue a career in this area of study.

The College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University is establishing the Warwick Bayly Scholarship in Equine Internal Medicine for veterinary students wishing to pursue a career in this area of study.
Warwick Bayly, BVSc, MS, PhD, Dipl. ACVIM, has served at the university for nearly 30 years, and he has been dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine since 2001. “As the past president of the World Equine Veterinary Association, and an influential researcher in the area of equine performance, we honor him by establishing a $25,000 scholarship to help those veterinary students who wish to follow along in his footsteps in the world of Equine Medicine,” reported a release from the university on the scholarship.
Bayly is also a past member of the editorial advisory board for The Horse: Your Guide To Equine Health Care (this Web site’s sister publication).
The university is inviting donors to “join in celebrating Dr Bayly’s lifetime of achievement by becoming a part of this (fundraising) effort
