VET-TEC introduces Core-Aid wound dressing to manage moisture at the wound bed, remove debris and fluids containing bacteria, and reduce expense and time required to care for wounds.
Core-Aid’s three-layer design draws fluid and debris into the upper layers of the dressing and holds it until the dressing is changed. The wound bed remains moist at the surface but not saturated with the bacteria-laden fluids; this moist environment is key for quick and effective wound healing.
Core-Aid pulls fluids from one layer into the next, allowing layering for wounds that require extra absorbency. The woven fibers will not shed into the wound, so it may be cut and shaped as needed.
